1. Check out our list of current studies.
All of the studies listed have been reviewed and approved by a human subjects research board.
2. Complete the requirements of the study.
Each study provides details on the goals of the research, the expected contribution to participate (i.e. survey, interview, or user experiment), and the estimated time commitment.
3. Wait...
The data collected from the experiment will need to be analyzed, written into a research paper, and accepted for publication at a peer-reviewed SE research venue (this process can take at least several months).
4. Earn a badge 
After publication, you will be updated with the details of the research and a new badge will be added to your profile!
5. Repeat!
